Mr. Brent Been

Brent Been has been teaching at THS for 8 years now. He says he’s
proud to be the sole World Geography teacher following Mrs. Boren’s
exodus to the Lone Star State. “I would not want to be anywhere else
because Tahlequah is the place for me. It is fun to be a big fish in a small pond.”
Mr. Been’s hobbies include watching football, listening to music from the 60’s and 70’s,
playing playstation 2 video games, reading, watching movies (especially all the films
of Stanley Kubrick), taking canoe trips (he plans to take on the boundary waters in
Minnesota next summer!), and going to school events. Mr. Been plans on teaching
till he is 60, then he wants to open a barber shop in Tahlequah
(he might have to practice on cats first, before he tries people hair, however).
