Katie Chaffin



Mrs. Chaffin is the THS Media Center person, she has been the Media Person for 3 years. She has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, a Masters degree in Secondary Education, and a Degree in Library Media Specialist from NSU. Mrs. Chaffins' past education experience includes: teaching 5th and 6th grade at Norwood, she was a graduate assistant at NSU in Driver Education, she taught drivers education at THS and is currently the media specialist here at THS. She has one son, two brothers, one sister-in-law, one great niece, and one great nephew.


Mrs. Chaffins' hobbies include....
Reading, swimming, traveling, watching movies and collecting Blue Willow china.


Mrs. Chaffins' plans are to travel more, get the library in shape by getting rid of old outdated books and buying new ones to replace them. She also hopes to start a reading club for students or a reading club class next year.
